SUMMER '09!

Look Mama, I'm not supposed to play with this, but I'm SOOOOOO cute!
Now let's see... I know I can figure this remote out!

LOVIN' the pool with daddy!

Nice TEETH!

Just hanging out with my mom...

Can you see my huge front teeth? Oh, and yes, I'm chewing on mom's running shoes. They're quite tasty...

Splash park fun

Grandma Jeanne is showing me how to stand on my tip toes!

Giddy Up Sasha!

Ahhhh, and to top it off, a nice bottle of RUM!
Hi everyone. I hope this update finds you all happy and healthy. We're just plugging along with our summer having a grand time. Tom has been traveling a lot for work... this is his busiest time of year, but after next week's trip things should slow down a bit for him. Mack, as you can see, is growing like a little weed! He's so funny. His personality is quite fiesty (nothing like Tom or me!!!). He's crazy fun and we are loving every minute of it. He's crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on everything. No steps yet, but I'm A-Ok with that! He's about 10 and 1/2 months old now, and I can't even believe that. He says "da da" and sometimes we catch him saying "ma ma" but mostly just makes funny noises and laughes at himself. He's an absolute JOY to be around.
We're heading to Oregon for a friend's wedding in August, then it's off to Seattle for the baptism! We can't wait for our little get away. The Northwest is calling our names.
Oh... and on a side note, I'm training for the Marine Corps Marathon in October. I'm really excited about it. My goal is qualify for Boston, so that means I have to run it in 3 hrs and 40 minutes or less... I definitely have my work cut out for myself.
Love and peace to you all.
Katie

Katie, Great pics. Good luck on the marathon, I assume that all of your family is training for this one including your Mom. While you are in Portland, why don't you and Tom lead a spinning class?
