Look how big Mack is getting! He'll be 6 months on Wednesday and he's 20.2 lbs. I just looked online and it says he's 86th percentile for weight, of course he was 25th for length last we checked. Fullback or D-lineman? :-)
He's really starting to look like a little boy (as opposed to a baby).
Like I said, everyboy's happy. Even Sasha...
Well, until Grama Jeanne gets a great idea. I'm sure this is the first of thousands of attempts to ride Sasha around the house. Look how well she takes it though...
Katie took Mack up to West Virginia to see April, Dudley and Amelia while daddy slaved away out in San Francisco for a week. Look at Mack's cute bear snowsuit.
On to the good life. Super Bowl was good this year. Sports Illustrated rated Madden Bowl as the #1 party of the year! Helped that Playboy backed out due to the economy, but it was a big success just the same.
Halftime show with Bruce Springstein. I'm not into the Boss much, but the SB halftime show is one of the most impressive shows you'll ever see. They construct and break down that stage in like 2 minutes.
On to Mack's 1st Daytona 500!
Doesn't take mom long to get into the NASCAR spirit. Mack passed out after his first Bud Light.
Check out the mane of a braid behind Katie!

It was tough being at Daytona without our great friend Bill Calhoun. Many of you met Bill at our wedding where he served as my 71 yr old groomsman. Unfortunately, Wild Bill passed away last month while skiing with his wife in Colorado. Bill and I met 7 years ago at a NASCAR race and have been tearing up infields ever since. Rest in peace buddy, I miss you already...

Katie made me take a picture of this poser...
Mack wasn't impressed with him either.
Check out Mack's feet on the stroller bar. He's practicing his double clutch and heel-toe braking so he can get on the track next year!

Speaking of lucky ducks getting on the track. My buddy Nick at NASCAR set up a pace car hot lap for them on Saturday. As me to share the video someday (it's too big to post here). Listening to Katie and her mother scream at the top of their lungs at 140 mph is pretty hilarious. Car fans, that's a 500HP Shelby Cobra GT 500 pace car. It'd be a good race between that and my 6.

Tom, Marco, Jeanne and Mark watch the race on Sunday. Who needs tickets?
Mack was happy all day. He LOVES loud noise.
