Officially NESTING

So I think I'm officially "nesting". I have washed every single little tiny sock, onesie, wash cloth, burp cloth, blankie and toy I can find. We had an ultra sound today and the little man is measuring 5 pounds and 7 ounces. They said he's above average, but not huge... so I'm feeling good about that. He was sucking on his little wrist and kicking away when we saw him. I swear he has Tom's dimples, too! The only thing that worries me is that he's still in a breech position. The doctor said that there is lots of fluid, and he should turn in the next few weeks. I'm crossing my fingers! As far as timing goes, the doctor said as long as we can make it through August, we should be good to go! This Thursday is 35 weeks, so it's definitely the home stretch. I'd put a picture of the 4d ultra sound, but I don't know how to get it from the scanner to the picture section... sorry! I'm technology challenged.

Tom has to go to New York this week for the Tiger Launch and then one more time next week for the NFL kickoff party. Then he's done traveling until after the bambino gets here. I'm so glad. As much as I try not to, when he leaves a little piece of me worries that I'm going to go into labor! At least I have Sasha to take care of me! HA HA!

Tropical Storm Fay

So many of you have heard that Florida is being drenched by Tropical Storm Fay. The rain is pounding us right now in Lake Mary and it just doesn't seem to be letting up one bit. The wind is whipping through here, too... crazy. Sasha HATES the water, and she refuses to go out in the rain to go potty. I have to coax her into going, and I have to be right next to her while she goes or else she won't do it. I had the brilliant idea of making her a poncho... well, as you can see from her face, she was NOT pleased with it. It is now in the trash. I have to admit, I laughed so hard looking at her in the homemade rain coat!

Baby Shower and other stuff

34 weeks in this picture... huge as a house. Can't wait to have this kid!

A huge thank you to our dear friends Courtney and Farrah for planning and hosting our couples' baby shower this past weekend. It was so beautiful. They did everything from hang adorable decorations to planning out fun games to getting the most beautiful (and delicious) cupcakes! We had a great time. Thank you also to all of our friends who were able to make it. Their generosity was overwhelming... the gifts we received really blew us away. It was very fun.

Lamaze...

We spent all day Saturday and 1/2 of Sunday in a Lamaze crash course. It was a LOT of information in a short amount of time, so of course I got sweaty palms and was all concerned that I wouldn't remember any of it. Tom was amazing (of course). He played along with all of the breathing techniques and the relaxation stuff. He is such the balance in my life. I was so glad we went, because not only did they discuss the breathing, etc, but they described the whole experience. It was a long weekend, but well worth it. Poor Sasha, though... she was feeling like a latch key kid all weekend long!

Saturday night we went to the Madden '09 kickoff party downtown Orlando and had a blast. It was a very late night, but we had a blast.
