Tom is the best...

Tom surprised me with a trip to Boca Raton last Tuesday night for a Roots/Erykah Badu concert in an outdoor venue. It was so much fun!!! We drove the new car down and had a blast. Wednesday morning we got up and went to the beach and walked and walked before heading back to Orlando. It was such a fun surprise and a much needed little get away.

Then our Memorial weekend was fab. We didn't have any plans, so we just hung out together and had a good time. We (when I say "we" I mean Tom... I just sat around and talked to him) oiled up all of our outdoor furniture. It looks great! We also washed and waxed the new car and a guy from Tom's office did a photo shoot of it. When we get those pics back I'll post a few up. It's so shiny!

Oh... and here's the "bump" at 22 weeks! It's about the same as before, but I think my butt is getting bigger!!! UGH!!!

Hooray for exercise!!!

Well, my doctor gave me the green light to start moderate exercise again. I didn't realize just how mopy I had gotten over the last 7 weeks without it. Poor Tom!!! I walked every day this week, ending with 20 miles total. I also did yoga each day at a new studio I found (compliments of my good friend Kate). It's a God send, and I feel like myself again! It's amazing how those endorphins kick in. It brought me back to life.

The baby has been moving around and kicking like crazy. It's the best feeling in the world when I feel the little guy moving around. It's still so surreal, though. My good friend in Seattle had her little girl last weekend... and the thought of a real baby here in my arms has me a bit freaked out. Thank God for 40 weeks!

Mom and Dad came to visit!

My parents came down for a long weekend and we had a blast. They came with me to my 20 week ultra sound and got to see the little guy swimming around doing flips and kicking away. It was very fun to have them with me.

The guys drove race cars at the Richard Petty driving experience, we went to the Sawgrass golf tournament, we took a scenic boat ride, we hung out at the pool... it was a fab time. I dropped them off at the airport and cried my eyeballs out.

Silver River

Well, our Saturday was an adventurous one! We spent the day with our friends Charley and Joni on their beautiful boat on the Silver River. We saw 17 alligators, monkeys, turtles, huge fish and much more. The river is spring filled, so it is an even 72 degrees year around and it is crystal clear. We felt like we were in the jungle all day.
