Our first date since Mack arrived!!!

Mack and Auntie April
Tom and Katie... FIRST NIGHT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It felt like a first date for me. Tom watched Mack that morning so I could go get a pedicure and a massage. Then I even had time to shower and shave my legs! I felt like a princess...

Here is sweet April taking Mack for a stroll in the front pack.

Mister cutie pie in his new bib from Auntie Annette!

Mack getting kisses from Sasha

Look at his face here... he's not too sure what to think!

Okay, mama, I'll smile one more time for you!
So it was Tom's holiday party at work on December 13th. We were all set to have Kate watch Mack, but she ended up having to work that night and couldn't do it. We don't know anyone else (or should I say "trust" anyone yet...) so I just figured I wouldn't be able to go. However... I was chatting with April and she said she was free to come down for the weekend. It seemed extravagant, but after checking airfare, Tom said BOOK IT! SO... not only did we get to see April and have an amazing time catching up, but I GOT TO GO ON A DATE WITH MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!! It was the best! Tom watched Mack the morning of the party so April and I could go to the spa. I had a massage and a pedicure and felt like a queen. Then when we got home April held Mack so I could shower and shave my legs and get all ready. I wore these beautiful velvet snake skin pants that Tom bought me last year... but I never got to wear them because I gained a million pounds in 5 minutes once I found out I was pregnant. I ROCKED those pants with a hot little black tank. Tom wore this hot gold jacket, and I didn't post a pic of his shoes, but they were super cute, too!
When we got home April was lying on the couch and Mack was sound asleep on her. He was just an angel. I have to admit, though, I missed him!!! It was such a great night. Thank you April!!!
We're heading to Montana on Monday for Christmas. It's 80 degrees here today and when I talked to my dad earlier it was 2 degrees there... yes, I said TWO degrees. Tell me again why we're going there???

That kid's THE MACK!

Just like dad, he's never happier than when a meal's on the way. Bring on the lobster!

Good thing there's pretty much ALWAYS a meal around the corner,
resulting in a pretty happy Mack,
most of the time...

I said MOST of the time. Here you see Mack and momma at Tiburon's (my studio) kid's Christmas party. Even a Grinch like me has to admit the outfit's pretty cute.

Santa told Mack he couldn't have the SeaGal's deliver his stocking on Christmas morning. I told that old man to shut the hell up!

Don't MAKE me take my hat off dude. You don't want to see what comes next if that happens!

Not to be discouraged in her effort to pour holiday cheer down my throat (kidding honey), Katie got a great hook-up for the Winter Park Christmas Parade. We watched from Merrill Lynch's office roof, away from crowds and with a nice little breakfast spread.

Pretty nice little small town parade. 2 hours of high school bands and small time politicians. Thank God Katie and I are alike and aren't the types that feel the need to see every last thing.

Mack and I checking out the scene. I thought about going Michael Jackson on him, but knew Katie'd throw me off the ledge for pulling that stunt.

Mack wasn't impressed.

Kate & Katie

Mack LOVES him some Kate!

The high point of the parade for me. I spotted this beauty of a bully down on the street. I couldn't resist and we went down to hang out with Bunny on our way out!

This guy keeps following us...

We hit brunch with the Holt's after the big festivities. Little Jane is seriously about the cutest little girl I've ever met. Makes me want to root for pink with the next one, but we don't do those kinds of things.

Sasha waited patiently for us to get back from the big day.

Mom didn't last long once we got home. I think the Nutty Irishman got to her, but Mack cooperated and slept like 8 hours last night!
